Representative Barbara Smith Warner visited two Preschool Promise classrooms in east Multnomah County last month: CAIRO Academy and the Head Start program at Mt. Hood Community College.
Staff at Portland Public Schools arranged a similar visit at Faubion PK-8 school for Rep. Alyssa Keny-Guyer. Staff from the offices of Rep. Smith Warner, Rep. Diego Hernandez and Speaker Tina Kotek also attended and heard from parents and staff about the positive ripple effects of a high-quality preschool experience.
