Carolina Ruiz

Carolina has been working in nonprofit spaces since her second year of college working in resource navigation and care coordination. She is a recent first-generation graduate from Lewis & Clark College with a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies. Throughout her studies, past work experience, and personal experience, she has been able to understand how access barriers systematically affect families. This work means a lot to Carolina as she continues to do the work she loves serving as a link for families to gain access to childcare and preschool services for their children to succeed.

Why is early learning important to you?

“Children are the best storytellers and have the most curious minds. Early learning allows for the nourishment of our future’s curiosity and innovation.”
